Valued Diorio DDS patients,

In light of the events surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, our practice has resumed operations under a new set of guidelines created to maintain the safety of all our patients as it has always been our priority. Our practice has tirelessly worked to abide by the latest CDC and ADA regulations while staying informed about this constantly evolving situation. We are regularly monitoring news and changing state and federal regulations to make sure that we are staying on top of all arising safety standards.

As part of our ongoing commitment to keeping you safe, we are not just meeting the bare-minimum safety requirements, we are also implementing a new standard of practice. These new rules are designed to keep all our patients and staff healthy while we continue to bring you the high-quality dentistry you’ve grown accustomed to.

Our new rules and regulations for visits are as follow:

  • All patients are required to bring their own masks, or they will not be allowed to enter the practice
  • Only the patient receiving treatment will be allowed into the office, all family members, partners, friends, or other companions are to wait outside in their car while the patient receives treatment
  • Upon arrival, all patients will receive a screening that will include questions about your health and a temperature check
  • You will be met by our office staff and immediately taken to your treatment room to avoid contact with other patients and objects around the office
  • We are current offering Tele-Medicine options for immunocompromised patients that would still like to consult with our dentists
  • All surfaces in all parts of our office will be sanitized each day to minimize any risk of infection

Along with our new guidelines we will continue to wear protective equipment and adjust to any changes to the recommended CDC procedures as well as any new standards applied by state or county official. As always, our goal is to continue brining you the best dental care in a safe and comfortable environment. If you have any questions about our guidelines, we encourage you to call our office and one of our staff members will be happy to provide answers.

Stay safe and we look forward to seeing you,
Diorio DDS
